CCA System
There is a CCA System which allows student teachers to keep a
record of their participation in the various CCAs during their
programme of study at NIE. Student teachers can use the CCA link
in the NIE’s Portal by doing the following:
o Go to http://nieportal.nie.edu.sg
o Log in
o Click on ‘My Workspace’ followed by ‘Online Services’ and
‘Current Curriculum Activities’. The application will open up in a
new internet explorer window.
If you are not sure how to access the CCA system, please refer to
the CCA User Guide found in the home page of portal:
o Click on Student Services, click on CCA, click on CCA again,
click on Open for CCA User Guide
Student teachers must ensure they have the supporting documents
before entering their CCA data. They will be responsible for updating
their CCA details accurately.
The CCA record will only capture the following 4 groups of CCA:
o Activities within NTU
o Activities within NIE
o Activities representing NTU
o Activities representing NIE
o NIE driven projects/programmes
