NTU Facilities/Services<br />
The following facilities/services in NTU are available for use by all<br />
student teachers:<br />
1. NTU Sports & Recreation Centre<br />
2. Medical Scheme<br />
3. Hostel Accommodation<br />
NTU Sports & Recreation Centre<br />
The NTU Sports & Recreation Centre (S & R Ctr) caters to the<br />
sporting and recreational needs <strong>of</strong> the University community. It<br />
organizes various intra-mural, extramural and inter-tertiary (both<br />
local and overseas) competitions for student athletes from NTU and<br />
<strong>NIE</strong>. S&R Ctr also organizes recreational programs such as Re’kreat<br />
and Pretty Tuff for the student population every semester.<br />
Bookings <strong>of</strong> selected sporting facilities can be made either online or<br />
in person at the S & R Ctr. Facilities bookings for events are only<br />
applicable for organized groups supported by their staff advisor.<br />
There is also a wide selection <strong>of</strong> balls for different sports available<br />
for loan at the counter. Showering facilities and free locker are also<br />
provided at the S & R Ctr.<br />
