INT. ELLIOT AND KATE’S APT / JOEY’S BEDROOM- NIGHT<br />
The entrance door opens and Ben comes in. He notices that<br />
the living room is mostly dark and quiet, except for a<br />
reading light that was left on in a corner.<br />
He heads to his/Joey’s bedroom. The door is closed.<br />
Ben opens the door to the bedroom. He sees Vlad and Joey<br />
sitting next to each other on his bed, with some books on<br />
their laps, which they quickly hide however they can.<br />
JOEY<br />
(shouting)<br />
Can I have some private time,<br />
please<br />
Ben shuts the door. He realizes he’s arrived at a bad<br />
moment.<br />
Back in the living room, Ben looks around and heads to<br />
the kitchen.<br />
INT. ELLIOT AND KATE’S APT, KITCHEN - NIGHT<br />
Ben opens the door and finds Elliot pouring some more red<br />
wine for Kate, seemingly having “a conversation.”<br />
BEN<br />
I’m sorry, I didn’t think...<br />
Come in.<br />
ELLIOT<br />
Ben enters.<br />
ELLIOT<br />
Do you want some wine<br />
Why not.<br />
BEN<br />
KATE<br />
How was your day<br />
Ben can feel the tension still in the air between them.<br />
BEN<br />
Nice. George went to church and I<br />
saw a wonderful movie.<br />
