V2V (Vineyard to Vintner): The Annual <strong>Week</strong>end Event in<br />

Napa Valley’s Neighborhood for World Cl<strong>as</strong>s Cabernet<br />

A celebration of the legendary Stags Leap<br />

District, Vineyard to Vintner 2011 will grant<br />

visitors unmatched access to all 18 member<br />

wineries. <strong>This</strong> three-day long affair (April 29-<br />

May 1) will feature exclusive p<strong>as</strong>ses to winery<br />

open houses, four intimate vintner-hosted<br />

dinners and a Stags Leap District Cabernet<br />

seminar.<br />

<strong>This</strong> festive annual event brings the entire<br />

Stags Leap District <strong>Wine</strong>growers Association<br />

together, creating intimate opportunities for<br />

guests to spend quality time with vintners<br />

and winemakers and to get a first-hand experience<br />

of what makes Stags Leap a world-cl<strong>as</strong>s<br />

appellation.<br />

There will be a range of activities available<br />

for people to enjoy. From hosted dinners on<br />

Friday night at Chimney Rock <strong>Wine</strong>ry (food<br />

by Chef Cindy Pawlcyn), Cliff Lede Vineyards<br />

(Food by Thom<strong>as</strong> Keller’s Ad Hoc), Pine<br />

Ridge Vineyards (food by La Toque’s Ken<br />

Frank) and Silverado Vineyards (Food by<br />

Sarah Scott) which all cost $335 per person,<br />

to Open Houses at all SLD wineries (exclusive<br />

back-stage p<strong>as</strong>ses cost $135 per person and<br />

grant access to all winery Open Houses in the<br />

district for the weekend), to the Cabernet<br />

Seminar at Stag’s Leap <strong>Wine</strong> Cellars hosted by<br />

Saveur Magazine’s David Rosengarten on<br />

Saturday ($60 per person). <strong>Wine</strong>ry Open<br />

Houses will provide full lunches for visitors.<br />

t<strong>as</strong>tings with m<strong>as</strong>ter winemakers: Nicki Pruss<br />

of Stag’s Leap <strong>Wine</strong> Cellars, Benoit Touquette<br />

of Hartwell Vineyards and Michael Beaulac of<br />

Pine Ridge Vineyards.<br />
