an almost closed box. Although<br />
there are vents in the casing, the air<br />
is stagnant and the internal temperature<br />
can rise. All that's needed<br />
is a RAM or ROM that is heat<br />
sensitive and a crash occurs. The<br />
normal fix is to turn off the <strong>Apple</strong><br />
until it cools down, or take the top<br />
off so the air doesn't get stagnant.<br />
You might consider adding a fan to<br />
your system to cool it.<br />
SMALL SAVINGS WITH<br />
LANGUAGE SYSTEM<br />
If you use the Language System<br />
(A2B0006) in your <strong>Apple</strong> you can<br />
save approximately 70 ma of +5v<br />
current. In this configuration there<br />
is no way you can address ROM F8<br />
on your motherboard. If you remove<br />
this ROM (monitor chip) you<br />
will save the current it normally<br />
uses.<br />
