6 KEY DATES NGĀ RANGI MATUA Here are some important dates. Please note that accommodation applications received by 1 October 2012 will be given priority over late applications. In some cases, you will need to apply for accommodation before you are accepted into your chosen programme of study. 2012 12 MAY Albany Open Day 1 AUGUST Applications for 2013 accommodation open. 1 AUGUST Manawatū Campus Open Day. 31 AUGUST Wellington Campus Open Day. 1 SEPTEMBER Time to send in your application for accommodation in the Halls of Residence, Residential Complexes or campus units. 24 SEPTEMBER Manawatū Campus Contact Day. 1 OCTOBER Is the date you want your application to be considered for the first round of selections, you must apply by this date. MID-OCTOBER The University advises on the success of applications for placement in a Massey University Hall of Residence, residential complex, unit or apartment. If you are successful, you need to confirm your place by the date given on your offer. 2013 31 JANUARY Final day for students to confirm their accommodation. Students who change their mind and advise the University on or before this date may receive a partial refund of their deposit. 18 FEBRUARY Campus and college pre-semester activities, including: Orientation, reporting-in-person and welcome sessions. 27 FEBRUARY Semester One and Double Semester begins.
