Saturday December 5th was the first day of the St Leger’s shoot
and saw 34 shooters from Cambridge, Te Kuiti, Tauranga, Taupo,
Gisborne, Hawke’s Bay ,Eketahuna, Wairarapa to Wellington
compete in 3 rounds of 50 Single Rise. Conditions were absolutely
perfect and saw 14 50 target possibles posted. No 150 target
possibles but one 149, Neil Pratt from Te Kuiti, won the 1st day
High Gun.
Sunday 6th, 30 shooters returned for the 2nd day to shoot 3
rounds of 150 Points Score. Again it was a day of beautiful conditions
but there were not as many possibles shot as would have been
expected. Only four 150 points were posted. 2nd Day High Gun was
taken by Chris Cassin from Patangata, on 445.
Chris Cassin won the Two Day High Gun for the 2nd year in a
row.
