Power adapters<br />

The <strong>Raspberry</strong> Pi uses a standard Micro USB (type B) power connector, which runs at 5v.<br />

Generally you can use a MicroUSB to USB cable and then either power the <strong>Raspberry</strong> Pi<br />

directly from your main computers USB ports (if they provide enough power), or by<br />

using a USB to Mains adaptor. A number of mobile phones use MicroUSB power cables,<br />

and these are compatible with the <strong>Raspberry</strong> Pi in most cases. Below is a list of power<br />

adaptors known to work.<br />
