SightFirst II Report
By PDG Don Lunstenberger
District Coordinator
At this point District 4-A1 has contributed $80,000.00
to the SightFirst II. This includes the pledges.
Donations will be collected for SightFirst II until
September 30, 2008.
What impact has our district made on world blindness
Our contribution will give sight to 1333 people. The
members of this district should be very proud of what
we have accomplished.
With the conclusion of the formal CSF II campaign and
reflecting on the success in reaching the challenge goal
of $200 million, I want to express my personal gratitude
to all of my area coordinators: Lions Mark True, Joe
Larranga, Don Bisbee, and Colette Goga, as well as
PDGs Pat Greene, Felix Romo, Dan Agari, Pat Dimond
and Bob Ransom for the outstanding job you
performed. Thanks to your hard work, dedication,
enthusiasm and follow through, you accomplished
everything humanly possible, congratulations! It has
been a wonderful experience for me to work with you.●
