STUDENT NAMED FINALIST IN NATIONAL DESIGN CONTEST<br />

FAYETTEVILLE, NC—Jordan Adams, a 20-year-old sophomore majoring in<br />

graphic design, has been selected as one of 13 finalists in a logo design contest for the first<br />

annual Florida Blueberry Festival in Brooksville, Fla.<br />

The first, second, and third place winners will be announced May 7, 2011. Adams,<br />

who is from Wilmington, N.C., is the daughter of Ed and Kim Adams. Six students from<br />

<strong>Methodist</strong> <strong>University</strong> entered the national competition, which was open to all art students.<br />

<strong>Methodist</strong> <strong>University</strong> is an independent four-year institution of higher education with<br />

over 2,300 students from 41 states and 44 countries. <strong>Methodist</strong> <strong>University</strong> offers over 70<br />

majors and concentrations, three master’s degree programs, and 19 NCAA III intercollegiate<br />
