MU ANNOUNCES THE 21 st SOUTHERN WRITERS SYMPOSIUM<br />
FAYETTEVILLE, NC—The 21st Southern <strong>Writers</strong> Symposium will take place in<br />
the Medical Lecture Hall located in the Physician Assistant Program Complex at <strong>Methodist</strong><br />
<strong>University</strong> from 9:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 26, 2011.<br />
The event, which is themed <strong>Celebrating</strong> <strong>Emerging</strong> <strong>Writers</strong>: A Day of Reading and<br />
Workshops, will feature writers from Florida, Tennessee, and North Carolina. The presenters<br />
include Lorraine M. López, Cecilia Rodríguez Milanés, Michael Colonnese, Beth Copeland,<br />
Robin Greene, Brenda Jernigan, and Shannon Ward.<br />
The general admission fee for the symposium and lunch is $15.00. For an additional<br />
fee, participants will have an opportunity to receive individual feedback on their own writing.<br />
Students with a valid <strong>Methodist</strong> <strong>University</strong> I.D. card may attend the symposium free of<br />
charge.<br />
<strong>Methodist</strong> <strong>University</strong> is an independent four-year institution of higher education with<br />
over 2,300 students from 41 states and 44 countries. <strong>Methodist</strong> <strong>University</strong> offers over 70<br />
