See Table 3.5d. Two recent studies from Nigeria show elective <strong>induction</strong> rates at seven<br />
<strong>and</strong> 13 percent (13, 44). The dated reference from Fiji rep<strong>or</strong>ted a 30 percent rate <strong>of</strong><br />
elective <strong>induction</strong>s between 1986-1996 (15).<br />
