Setting Up the DMA8Plus<br />
3.10 Updating the DMA8Plus Firmware<br />
To update the DMA8Plus firmware:<br />
1. Obtain the latest version of the Dolby Software Update application from Dolby<br />
Laboratories and install it on your PC.<br />
2. Obtain the .dlb update file from Dolby Laboratories and copy it to your PC.<br />
3. Connect your PC to the USB port on the DMA8Plus front panel.<br />
4. Select Start>Programs>Dolby>Dolby Software Update to launch the update application.<br />

5. Click Browse to find the .dlb update file on your PC, then click Open.<br />
6. Click Update.<br />
After a few seconds, a progress bar displays the status of the update process. When the<br />
process is completed, the DMA8Plus automatically reboots with the updated<br />
firmware.<br />
Note:<br />
Current DMA8Plus setup software automatically launches the built‐in<br />
Dolby Software Update application.<br />
