Callie Joncas
Congratulations to Callie Joncas, Hersey's Student of the Month for December!
Nominated by P.E. teacher Mr. Lussow, Callie’s outstanding work ethic and
participation are what have accounted for her nomination. Mr. Lussow commented,
“Callie goes above and beyond the call of duty every day. She has accepted every
challenge of my grueling workouts with tenacity and pride. She displays a
willingness to work regardless of the amount of effort involved. She never gives up
and always strives to improve her fitness level every day. She begins the class and
ends the class with a smile. Callie is also on the girls’ cross country and track
teams. Upon high school graduation, she plans on to attend college and obtain a
degree in the science field. Callie advises future Hersey students to “be
adventurous and try new things, but stay balanced.”
