Summary: Shinnoko Mimura, a low-ranking samurai, is the official court
food taster. His life takes a tragic turn when he is poisoned and loses his
eyesight. His wife, kayo, becomes the lover of Shimada, a higher ranking
official, in order to save Shinnoko's court position. Shinnoko discovers
that Shimada does not plan to help him. In order to gain back his honour

Summary: The year 2084, when humanity is decimated by a ruthless alien
