If you’re looking for the ultimate escape from
it all this summer, you won’t find a better

Little Haven Caravan and Camping Park is

You won’t find a friendlier place to stay than
this small, family-run caravan park, owned by
Patricia Lunnon. Living up to its name, Little
Haven provides adults with an unrivalled rural
haven, situated away from the busy seaside
resorts. Patricia and family pride themselves
on the cleanliness of the facilities here, as well
as the warm welcome that awaits their guests.
Patricia explains: “We’re a well secluded,
pretty, quiet park and we’re situated in one of
the most beautiful areas of Norfolk. Our guests
are so taken with the place that they return
every year and we have built up many regular
customers over the years.”
Situated within easy reach of the coast and its
magnificent beaches, the park is just six miles
from the popular seaside resort of Cromer
and only three miles away from Aylsham, a
picturesque market town. You’ll find Cromer
packed with activities and sights to suit all
tastes, whatever your age. With its famous pier,
huge beaches and magnificent cliffs, you’ll
find the coast has plenty to offer, whilst the
museums and little Victorian streets provide
a step back in time. Aylsham is also steeped
in history – dating back to pre-Norman times
– and offers a wide range of locally produced
goods, as well as plenty of places to enjoy
some local foods.
The 24 spacious pitches - all with electric
hook-up - are situated around the edge of the
Park, which is surrounded by hedges and trees,
giving guests a more secluded and sheltered
place to relax. The park is serviced by a hard
surfaced road, allowing guests easier access
to pitches, and ample parking is provided. The
central area of the park is home to a beautiful
pergola and seating area, providing the ideal
place to unwind and enjoy the sunshine. With
stunning, well-kept gardens, as well as a fish
pond, you won’t even need to leave the park to
appreciate the magic of Norfolk.
The onsite facilities have everything you will
need during your stay. The heated toilet blocks
offer showers, sinks, washing up and laundry
facilities – complete with free hot water – and
are cleaned to the highest standard. Pets are
also welcome onsite and park is open from 1st
March to 31st October.
Norfolk really does offer something for
everyone and Little Haven is the best location
for experiencing it all. The nearby Weavers
Way, which goes from Cromer all the way
down to Great Yarmouth, is a fantastic walking
route for seeing more of this beautiful area.
Fishing is also hugely popular locally and ideal
sites for sea and coarse angling can be found
within easy reach of Little Haven.
The countryside here is teaming with wildlife;
in fact it’s one of the country’s top destinations
for bird watchers, with Pensthorpe Nature
Reserve having recently featured on the BBC’s
Springwatch. There are plenty of places to get
spotting, including Berney Marshes, which is
an RSPB reserve, as well as the nature reserves
at East Wretham Heath and Foxley Wood.
Have a fun day spotting seals at Blakeney
Point, situated on the north Norfolk coast,
where you’ll also find many sea bird colonies,
as well as unspoilt coastal views and glorious
sandy beaches. Why not enjoy a hawk walk
at the East Anglian Falconry, where you can
enjoy the company of Harris the hawk, get the
opportunity to handle him and find out more
about birds of prey.
Dominated by its cathedral, Norwich is a
medieval city that combines history, culture,
great attractions and fantastic shopping
opportunities. Norwich also offers plenty of
night time entertainment with many eating
establishments, theatres and a cinema.
Bure Valley Railway, Wroxham Barns and
Blickling Hall – reported to be the birthplace of
Anne Boleyn, second wife of Henry VIII – are
also well worth a visit. If you want a break
from cooking after a busy day exploring then
there are two pubs within walking distance,
both offering hearty food and traditional ales.
