kitchen has a full-sized electric cooker,
fridge and microwave, whilst the store
room houses a freezer, washing machine
and dryer – handy for those longer
holidays – as well as offering extra space
for bikes, golf clubs or wet clothes.
The open plan lounge and dining area
provides plenty of space, as well as
offering a television and video, and leads
onto a beautiful veranda. Guests are
treated to their own private garden, which
has a barbecue – perfect for soaking up
the stunning views of the valley on warm
summer evenings. There is also ample
parking available.

between Stowmarket and Hitcham in the lovely
Suffolk countryside. The camping is approached
down a long drive of about 400 yards, leading
into the farm gate and the camping field which
overlooks our pond, wheat/barley fields and
peaceful countryside.

The local area is great for anyone who
wants to discover the beauty of mid-Wales.
Great for walking, cycling, birdwatching
and nature spotting, the Berwyn
Mountains are largely unpopulated and
therefore provide a quiet and relaxing
day out. The village of Llanrhaeadr Ym
Mochnant is just two miles away and is
home to shops, pubs and a post office.
Just 15 minutes away you will find the
magnificent Pistyll Rhaeadr waterfall. With
its 240ft sheer drop, it’s the UK’s largest
single drop waterfall and one of the seven
wonders of Wales. Bala Lake, the biggest

must provide their own travel cot, although there is no extra

With so much to see and do in the vast and varied county
of Lincolnshire, you might be wondering where to start.
Just three miles from Branston sits Lincoln, the second most
visited city in Britain, outside of London. This magnificent
city is steeped in history and culture, and its cathedral and
castle both come highly recommended for a day out. Lincoln
Cathedral is also home to one of only four surviving copies
of the Magna Carta, one of the most important documents
of our history, and should be at the top of anyone’s list
of places to visit. There are also many shops to browse,
including fashion boutiques, specialist bookshops and high
street stores, and historic cruise tours, running through the
waterways of the city, are also a perfect way to see the sights.
For a more active way to spend the day, there are local
stables near to Branston for a spot of horse riding, and also
the new Water Rail Way, which provides a beautiful riverside
walk along the picturesque Lincolnshire countryside. There
are also many stately homes to visit, with magnificent gardens
to enjoy.
Why not head to the coast for some seaside fun. Just an
hour’s drive will take you to Skegness, and with its beach,
amusement arcades and Natureland Seal Sanctuary, you’ll
find your day is lively and entertaining. The Fantasy Island
funfair at nearby Ingoldmell’s is also great fun for kids.
If you’re hungry after a busy day exploring Lincolnshire,
the nearby pub is the ideal place to head for a tasty, hot
evening meal, before heading back to Buckingham’s Bed and
Breakfast for a great night’s sleep.
