This bed and breakfast offers four

When it comes to activities, you will easily be
kept entertained, as Lynn explains: “There’s
everything you could possibly wish for here
in the Cairngorm National Park. You can
spot red squirrels, rabbits and birds from the
conservatory lounge, and the area offers a
whole host of things to see and do.”

mountain biking, watersports, quad biking
and the Landmark adventure playground
can all be found locally and provide an
ideal way to soak up some of that amazing
Scottish countryside. If that’s not enough for
you, there are many places to visit, including

Skiing and dog sleighing are also available
locally during the winter months.

With an array of traditional seaside towns littered
with knick-knack souvenir shops, plenty of farmers
markets to explore and numerous attractions, old
and new, to keep the whole family entertained,
Norfolk is the perfect destination for your summer

With such a magnificent location on the edge of Thornham on
the north Norfolk coast, Curlew Cottage is ideally placed for
exploring. Thornham Harbour is about 15 minutes walk along

Curlew Cottage has been welcoming guests from across the
globe to north Norfolk for over 30 years, but since 2003, the
cottage has been in the safe hands of Sally Tarlton, who took
over the running of the property from her late mother. Sally
told Aspire: “My parents opened the cottage up as holiday
accommodation in the early 1980’s, but it was left to me in
my mum’s will. I’ve done a few things to the cottage each year
since, gradually updating and redecorating it. It really is a lovely,
picturesque place to be, so much so that many guests return year
after year.”
With two bedrooms (one double with sea-view and one with
bunk-beds and single), a large family bathroom, a lounge that
boasts spectacular views of the sea, a dining room with new
furniture, and a fully-equipped kitchen with dishwasher and
washing machine for those long stays, it’s not hard to see why so
many people chose Curlew Cottage.
If you want somewhere to sit back and relax this summer, the
long, shared garden at Curlew Cottage is perfect; from here, you
can even take a five minute stroll into the village, where you’ll
find two pubs and a restaurant, including the award-winning
