Committee openings
Election of the SE Committee will take place at
Regional AGM in October as usual. Anyone wishing to
stand for a position on the Committee should get
themselves nominated and seconded using the form
on page 9, which should be sent to the Secretary by 30
September. More information about volunteering can be found
on page 8 and there are details of the AGM on page 6.
Message from our RO
Jan Palmer has been acting as both our Regional Officer and
Kent Rep. She is happy to continue in both roles, but if anyone
is especially keen to take on the role of RO please contact her
(ro.southeast@bwy.org.uk) as she would be equally happy to
pass this job on and focus on her responsibilities as Kent Rep.
Financial assistance update
Here are the details of the financial assistance projects approved
by your Committee since the last newsletter. As part of the
scheme, we inform the membership of the approvals and then
require the teacher to provide feedback, positive or negative, via
the newsletter. There’s just one this time: Sabine Dahn – venue
costs and CD manufacturer costs to help classes for people with
mental health difficulties. Sabine’s feedback will appear in a
future issue.
