the saloon before you heard this scuffling
in there
A. It might have been ten minutes.

matter with him when this scuffling was
going on
A. Not that I could see: he was drunk.
Q. Was he able to handle himself all right
and put up a pretty good fight
A. Yes, he could put up a pretty good fight.
Q. You were not in the saloon after the
scuffle
A. No Sir, I was not.
Q. And could you say from what you
saw looking in there that there was blood
around the saloon at that time
A. There was blood on the floor and on a
couple of glasses he was using at that time.
Q. Where was this blood on the floor
A. Right from the back end of the saloon
to where he ran to the door and on the
floor where he put his hands.
Q. This blood that came to the door was
blood that came from Johnson as he went
towards the door
A. Yes Sir.
