6. Data access using Modbus/RTU protocol<br />
Request to the <strong>COM462RTU</strong> are sent using the function code 0x03 (read several<br />
registers). The <strong>COM462RTU</strong> generates a function-related response and returns<br />
it.<br />
6.1 Exception code<br />
If a request cannot be answered for whatever reason, the <strong>COM462RTU</strong> sends<br />
a so-called exception code with which possible faults can be narrowed down.<br />
