I have read Walden several times since, and each time I recommit to a
relatively simpler and ultimately more meaningful life —both personally
and professionally. Research Papers Simplified: A Step-by-
Step Approach is my attempt to guide students through the process
of writing a research paper—from beginning to end—in the simplest,
most direct way possible. The process for writing a research paper is
divided into ten manageable steps.
Step 1: Defining the Research Paper provides students with
two relatively brief definitions of the research paper.
Step 2: Study a Completed Research Paper Before You
Begin allows you to see finished research papers, written according to
MLA and American Psychological Association (APA) guidelines, before
you begin the process of writing a research paper. Seeing a finished
research paper early on in the process usually reduces students’ anxiety
when they approach a research paper assignment.
Step 3: Discover the Benefits of Learning to Write
Research Papers discusses how the research paper assignment is
perhaps the best preparation for success in your personal, academic,
and professional endeavors.
