Indication<br />
• Eradication of H. pylori in peptic ulcer patients, in combination with 2 antibiotics<br />
• Peptic ulcer disease (treatment, prevention of re bleeding)<br />
• GERD (symptom relief, treatment& maintenance of healing of erosive<br />
esophagitis)<br />
• Zollinger-Ellison syndrome and other pathological hypersecretory conditions<br />

Single dose preparation & administration method<br />
1. One hour before administration, transfer the granules from one <strong>30mg</strong><br />
<strong>lansoprazole</strong> capsule into a 30ml syringe and a 20G needle in place.<br />
2. Withdraw 10ml of sodium bicarbonate 8.4% and mix contents thoroughly for<br />
at least 5-10minutes or until granules dissolve<br />
3. Administer the prepared mixture of 3mg/ml.<br />
Multiple dose preparation and administration method<br />
1. Transfer contents from 5 <strong>lansoprazole</strong> capsules into a amber plastic or glass<br />
bottle<br />
2. Add 50ml sodium bicarbonate 8.4% solution into the amber bottle and mix<br />
thoroughly for 10-30 minutes or until granules dissolves (or leave mixture to<br />
stand for 30 minutes).
