Operating/meeting times: Two meetings per month, second Monday 7pm to 9pm<br />
and fourth Friday 9.30am to 12 midday.<br />
Service description: ARAFMI support group meets twice monthly to help carers cope<br />
with their relatives or friends mental health problem. By sharing similar experiences<br />
members of the group develop skills for coping and exchange useful strategies. Groups<br />
are supportive and positive and members are willing listeners who really understand.<br />
All information shared within the group is kept confidential. Arafmi also provides a 24<br />
hour phone support line for carers. Carers can call for free from anywhere in<br />
Queensland through 1800 351 881.<br />

pensioners and veterans (as determined by the Government Hearing Services Voucher<br />
