Service description: EDON Place Women's Domestic Violence Service provides crisis<br />
accommodation and support to women and children escaping/living with domestic<br />
violence as well as referrals to other agencies. Assistance with Domestic Violence<br />
Protection Order applications and Court support is provided as well as a rural outreach<br />
program. Two 12 week personal development groups are run each year, each in two 6<br />
week blocks. EDON Place Women's Domestic Violence Service is a crisis service and<br />
does not provide long term counselling. A small amount of Emergency Relief money<br />
is also available. Appointments are essential and only available Tuesday, Wednesday<br />
and Thursday between 9.00 and 12.00<br />
