Service description: Meals cooked at the Childers hospital and delivered by Meals on<br />

Wheels volunteers, Mondays Wednesdays and Fridays. Meals collected from the<br />

hospital around 11.30am and then delivered. Frozen meals are available upon request.<br />

Delivery to Childers and surrounds. A service of the <strong>Bundaberg</strong> <strong>Regional</strong> <strong>Council</strong>.<br />

Operating/meeting times: Monday - Friday 9.00 am – 5.00 pm<br />

Service description: Provides information support and referrals to prevent physical,<br />

sexual, financial, psychological and social abuse, and/or neglect. Provide information<br />

on legislation, community organisations and assistance. Monitor and collect data on<br />

elder abuse. The EAPU is a state-wide service which also provides free training to<br />

community groups and service providers who visit older people in the community.<br />
