Ferro alloy being a key consumable in <strong>Steel</strong> making, a<br />
Ferro Alloy Plant is being set up at Bobbili, Andhra<br />
Pradesh along with MOIL by the way of a Joint Venture<br />
Company viz., RINMOIL Ferro Alloys Limited.<br />
Madharam Dolomite Mine (MDM):<br />
The percentage growth in respect of Production is 5.25<br />
lakh tonnes i.e. 1.5% and Dispatch is 5.29 lakh tonnes<br />
i.e. 5.5% as compared with that of last year 2010-11.<br />
Bagged 2 nd prize in Waste Dump Management during<br />
Mines Environment and Mineral Conservation week<br />
(MEMC) <strong>2011</strong>-12.<br />
Jaggayyapeta Limestone Mine (JLM):<br />
Highest ever dispatch during the year 4.70 lakh<br />
tonnes, Highest ever drilling (19664 M) during the year<br />
highest ever monthly (Jan '12) drilling (2720 M) since<br />
inception. The Production is 4.38 lakh tonnes and<br />
percentage growth is 20.5% and Dispatch is 4.70 lakh<br />
tonnes and percentage growth is 14% as compared<br />
with that of last year 2010-11.<br />
Garbham Manganese Mine (GMM):<br />
of customers and seeding new customers through<br />
Product Bank etc. Special attention was given to the<br />
supplies to untapped rural market through Rural<br />
Dealers.<br />
Since the product volume of RINL is going to be<br />
doubled in the coming years, RINL has adopted a<br />
strategy of reducing its excessive dependence on<br />
Southern Market and focusing on new Markets<br />
segments in East, West and North.<br />
Highlights <strong>for</strong> FY11-12<br />
Record Turnover: All time Record Sales Turnover<br />
of ` 14,462 cr. was achieved, representing a<br />
growth of 26% compared to the Sales Turnover<br />
of ` 11,517 cr. during the 2010-11.<br />
Target fulfillment of Sales Turnover against MOU<br />
target of ` 13,607 cr. was 106%.<br />
Record sales turnover achieved during 8 months<br />
in the year and consistently every month from<br />
Sept. '11 to Mar. '12.<br />
The Dispatch during the year is 11,158 tonnes and<br />
percentage growth in respect of Dispatch is 60% as<br />
compared with that of last year 2010-11. Supplies<br />
were made in line with requirement of plant.<br />
Marketing :<br />
Steady Pricing coupled with customer centric<br />
approach, pre and post sales contact, enhanced<br />
distribution network and product positioning have<br />
helped in maintaining healthy balance between the<br />
sales and stock position. It also paid rich dividends in<br />
the <strong>for</strong>m of consistently growing sales and higher<br />
realizations through out the year.<br />

Sales volume: Sales volume of Iron & <strong>Steel</strong><br />
35.39 lakh tonnes achieved compared to 33.22<br />
lakh tonnes in 2010-11, representing a growth<br />
of 7%.<br />
With a view to promoting customer loyalty, existing<br />
MOUs were renewed and also new MOUs were entered<br />
into with Actual Users, Project Customers and Retailers<br />
and the supplies were closely monitored. Higher degree<br />
of customer satisfaction was obtained by focusing on<br />
supply side management inter-alia consistent and<br />
timely supply, meeting contingent material requirement<br />
