New 100% Government Funding for CSIA Customer Service Excellence Programs Australian organisations are now eligible for government funded customer service training for managers, team leaders, supervisors, contact centre staff and frontline personnel. The funding can also be used for certification to the International Customer Service Standard. For the first time approval has been given for FULL Federal government funding of customer service programs for large, medium and small enterprises as well as state, local and some federal government departments! This landmark decision has been made in recognition of the importance of superior customer service management qualifications and systems to the Australian economy. As Australia’s peak customer service body, the Customer Service Institute of Australia (CSIA) is pleased to announce its partnership with Federal Government training initiatives to offer a comprehensive and fully subsidised customer service training package. By complying with government guidelines, CSIA delivered customer service training programs will be 100% funded through government incentive payments. CSIA’s Executive Director, Brett Whitford, is delighted by the announcement and commented, ‘This is exciting news for Australian enterprises of all types as well as state government departments and agencies. Clearly the federal government has recognised that all organisations need to develop a team of qualified customer service leaders to champion and manage increasingly complex customer service management systems.’ The training package has been designed and approved in consultation with the relevant Government appointed ACC and RTO bodies to comply with the Government’s funding requirements. The full Government funding now enables organisations to receive a comprehensive training suite delivered by the CSIA — Australia’s expert customer service authority — that is completely reimbursed.
