Maneurop Reciprocating Compressors , type MT/MTZ<br />
Introduction<br />
Maneurop reciprocating compressors are designed<br />
for light commercial air conditioning applications as<br />
well as refrigeration applications.<br />
Thanks to the very large internal volume, large oil<br />
sump, the sturdy design of compressor parts and<br />
its 100% suction gas cooled motor, the Maneurop<br />
reciprocating compressor has proven its ability to<br />
withstand the most harsh conditions where other<br />
compressors may fail.<br />
Features<br />
Both MT and MTZ compressors have a large<br />
internal free volume that reduces the risk of<br />
slugging when liquid refrigerant enters the<br />
compressor. Because they are fully cooled by<br />
suction gas, no additional compressor cooling<br />
is required. Compressors can be insulated with<br />
acoustic jackets to obtain lower sound levels<br />
without risk of overheating.<br />
A sight glass and oil equalization connection are<br />
features in these compressors.<br />
