Dr. Ryan Reardon<br />

Oriole Elementary School<br />

As the principal of Oriole Elementary School, Dr. Ryan T.<br />

Reardon represents a 21st Century leader with his exceptional<br />

abilities and has led multiple efforts to continue the process<br />

of 21st Century learning. He has been the principal at Oriole<br />

Elementary for the past four years and has a total of 14 years of<br />

education experience.<br />

Reardon has implemented numerous initiatives to improve the<br />

physical plant, increase standardized test scores, and improve<br />

the overall academic instruction across all grades. The academic<br />

portfolio of Oriole Elementary over the past three years has<br />

shown some signifi cant gains. The average daily attendance rates<br />

for students has remained high (over 96 percent) and the student<br />

suspension rates remain under one percent.<br />

Prior to his years at Oriole Elementary, Reardon felt the concept<br />

of earning the Golden School Award was a mere idea. For him,<br />

customer service and the respectful treatment of all we encounter<br />

are of utmost importance. The image and reputation of his school<br />

is positive and has led to fi ve consecutive Golden School Awards.<br />

The school’s vision and mission statements refl ect one major<br />

objective: to create and maintain an environment that bonds the<br />

staff, students, parents and community stakeholders with the goal<br />

of providing the best education for all students in a safe learning<br />

environment. Reardon possesses a masterful knowledge of<br />

school operations and data analysis that make our schools better<br />

learning facilities.<br />
