The School Board of Broward County, Florida is proud to represent each and every individual
being honored tonight at the Caliber Awards. This event recognizes the outstanding School-Related
Employee, Principal, Assistant Principal and Teacher of the Year. What we all know, however, is
that those being honored tonight are the personification of all the employees, principals, assistant
principals and teachers who make up the entire District workforce.
As a Board, we are reminded everyday of our responsibility to make sure that every student in every
school has a voice. We are also reminded of what you do everyday to support students, staff, and
parents. Tonight’s event is a wonderful opportunity for us to put the spotlight on you. To give you
the accolades you deserve. Congratulations to all the nominees, finalists and to those who have been
selected to represent Broward County Public Schools.
