After you have uploaded the Product Envelope to the VM host system in BINARY FIXED 1024 and
de-compacted the file, you may install the product. When installing using a Product Envelope, the ENV
option must be used with the VMFINS commands.
Important Note for Product Envelopes
When installing using the Product Envelope, use the ENV option with the VMFINS commands. The
Product Envelope should be on a minidisk or SFS directory accessed as the 'C' disk.

4.3.3 Load Installation-Related Files from Tape
This step is optional. However, it is necessary to perform these steps if you are installing to SFS
directories in order to get the resources needed for SFS.
The Installation-Related files include all the Memo-to-Users, various Licensed Product control files,
including the Product Parameter file (PPF) and the PRODPART files. It will also create the VMFINS
PRODLIST file which contains a list of Licensed Products on the installation tape. Although the VMFINS
command is being used in this step, the product will not be loaded at this time.
To install information on the tape contents, perform the following steps.
1 Log on to your Licensed Product installation user ID.
