The installation will fail if the resource is not allocated (i.e. defined and formatted). Files which will
eventually end up on end user disks, will be loaded to the test disk(s), and all others are loaded to the
appropriate disk (memos, etc.). If the product has one or more features, it may use the same test minidisk
as the base product.
In Chapter 6.0, “Semi-VMSES/E Licensed Product Technical Notes” on page 161, you will be given the
VMFINS command to install the Licensed Product on the test minidisk(s). All of the Licensed Products
end user files will be placed on the test minidisk(s).
Once you have completed testing, you will copy the files from the test minidisk to the “Related Production
Disk” via the VMFCOPY command.
