METHODOLOGY OF TEACHING CIVICS<br />
Objectives:<br />
To enable the Student teachers to -<br />
1. Refresh the knowledge of student teacher about the meaning and importance<br />
Civics.<br />
2. Establish co-relation of Civics with other school subjects<br />
3. Apply appropriate methods in teaching particular topics at different level.<br />
4. Select and use relevant teaching aids.<br />
5. Imbibe and develop basic teaching skills.<br />
6. Clarify particular concepts, trends, principles, methods etc. with the help of<br />
correlation<br />
to similar content or situation.<br />
7, Prepare yearly, UNIT and daily Lesson plans,<br />
8. Prepare achievement and diagnostic test on scientific basis.<br />
9. Develop skills and abilities for organizing school activities related to the subject.<br />

-Aims and Objectives, of teaching Civics at different level (Elementary, Upper<br />
