ORGANIZATIONAL ANNOUNCEMENTS<br />
McFall appointed Manager of Plant Operations<br />
Ron McFall has been promoted to manager of plant<br />
operations. Ron has been employed at MRMC for 21<br />
years. He has a degree in environmental and refrigeration<br />
technology and numerous quality, system and safety<br />
certifications.<br />
“Ron has been a dedicated leader to Plant Operations<br />
and the medical center. I feel honored to have him accept<br />
this role in leading our staff in day-to-day operations of<br />
facility management,” said Director of Plant Operations<br />
Paul Corvin.<br />
Purcell is promoted to Nurse Manager<br />
Barbara Purcell, RN, is the new nurse manager for<br />
Third West. Barbara has been at <strong>Maury</strong> <strong>Regional</strong> Medical<br />
Center for five years, most recently serving as a charge<br />
nurse on Third West.<br />
“Barbara has been a proven leader during her<br />
employment at <strong>Maury</strong> <strong>Regional</strong> and will do an<br />
outstanding job leading the unit,” said Administrative<br />
Director Carey Albright.<br />
MICHELLE PIGG IS SERVICE CHAMPION<br />
OF <strong>THE</strong> MONTH<br />
Michelle Pigg, a charge nurse on ICU Stepdown, was named July Service<br />
Champion of the Month. Pigg has been an employee for 10 years. She was<br />
described by those who nominated her as patient-focused, caring, loyal, and<br />
a team player who goes above and<br />
beyond to make certain patients<br />
receive outstanding care.<br />
“Michelle sets an example for all<br />
of our employees. She touches the<br />
lives of those around her with her<br />
selfless and giving attitude toward<br />
patients, families and her co-workers.<br />
She is extremely deserving of this<br />
