Organizational Announcement<br />
Bobby Ellis has accepted the position of support<br />
center manager. Ellis received his associate’s degree in<br />
computer information systems from Columbia State and<br />
is pursuing a bachelor’s degree from Middle Tennessee<br />
State University in information technology. He has been<br />
an employee since February, and most recently served as<br />
a support tech.<br />
“Bobby has shown great initiative since being employed<br />
at the medical center. His professional background,<br />
patient focus and customer service perspective make him well suited for this<br />
management position,” said Nick Swift, chief financial officer.<br />
Trever Hawkins, RN, has accepted the position of<br />
mother/baby nurse manager. Hawkins received her bachelor’s<br />
degree in nursing from Middle Tennessee State University<br />
and is pursuing a master’s degree from Tennessee<br />
State University. She has been an employee at the<br />
medical center for 14 years, serving as a charge nurse in<br />
various units.<br />
“Trever’s years of experience and her passion for<br />
mothers and babies will prove as great assets to the facility.<br />
We are grateful for her leadership,” said Diane Perry, administrative director<br />
of women’s, children’s and oncology services.<br />
Online Payment and Drive-Through<br />
Services Offered<br />
For the convenience of customers, MRMC is now offering online bill payment<br />
as well as a drive-through service at the Annex located across the street<br />
from the medical center, according to Chief Financial Officer Nick Swift.<br />
“It was important to us that we provide our customers with more options<br />
that are convenient and accessible,” said Swift. “People lead busy lives and<br />
our goal is to make doing business with the medical center a little easier.”<br />
To pay a bill online, simply go to mauryregional.com. An icon appears on<br />
the home page in the blue column on the left. By selecting this option, you will<br />
go to a safe and secure site to view your account charges and pay your bill.<br />
On the initial visit, a customer will set up an account with a password that they<br />
determine. Once an account has been activated, the customer can access it<br />
at any time for viewing account activity.<br />
For those who prefer to pay a bill in person, the cashier’s office has moved<br />
to the Annex, which offers convenient parking and drive-through service. The<br />
Annex is located at 1223½ Trotwood Avenue near McDonald’s. Office and<br />
drive-through hours are Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. until 4:30 p.m.<br />
Patient Accounts Director Kirby Hedrick stated, “In addition to making<br />
payments more convenient, we have patient account representatives available<br />
at the Annex to answer questions and assist individuals in managing<br />
their accounts. We believe that customers will find our new customer-friendly<br />
location beneficial in meeting their needs.”<br />
