Lupe Fiasco, Musiq Soulchild,
and MC Lyte.
How did you come up with
your stage name
I combined Son (son of man
sun in the sky) with cere. The
name means free spirit Soncier.
The true son that shines .
That’s the ultimate meaning.
What is your most recent
project
My most recent project is my
single K.I.D.S keep intelligence
dismiss stupidity. It’s
about single parents . It will
be released soon thru DLH
Media Group.

what would you be doing
I would be a motivational
speaker

sound/music
I create positive rap music
with a negative appeal . I create
positive rap music with a

What are your goals
To sell over a million records,
run a franchise, enhance my
Entertainment company, go on
a world tour, sell songs as a
song writer, get my bachelors
in mass communication.
Where do you see yourself
this time next year
I see my single K.I.D.S earning
me a lot of recognition
and success. I see myself on
tour next year.
What’s next for you
Release the single, promote
my previous mixtape DARE
and release DARE 2. I Will
also be opening up for Slick
Rick December 3rd at sound
stage in Baltimore.
What is your definition of
success
Success is your personal form
of satisfaction.
How will you know when you
have “made it”
There’s no such thing. However
I will know I am a big
deal in the public eye when I
get approached by mainstream
artist to collab and hang out
Also, when corporations and
labels start negotiating deals
throwing money at me .
How many live performances
have you done
I’ve performed over 60 times
in my whole career. My best
performance was At Platinum
Nightclub because it was
my first official show and I
worked the crowd well.
My worse was I performed at
a picnic. People were eating
and not really paying Attention.
What does your lyrics say
about you/your character
My lyrics indicate that I am
wise and honest about my
perceptions of the world. My
style gives you a idea of what
moral compass I have and
my ideal belief in the creator
of the universe. My positive
music tells that I am all about
standing your ground , being
smart and fighting negativity.
Do you love your music
I love my music . I get skeptical
like anyone else about
when and how I’m going to
get my music mainstream .
I’ve been late on bills, lost
friendships, gone in debt,
missed countless outings with
people and survived a near
death experience. I am using
my own money to fund my
music. Very draining at times
but it’s my reality and I won’t
give up.

I signed myself to my own
