By the will of the late Frank L. Stoner, of Frederick, Maryland,
a trust fund was set up, the income from which is to be used for the
maintenance of a free scholarship at Western Maryland College. The
trustees of thil fund select the recipient.
THE
STONE SCliOLARSHIPS
The will of the late Harvey A. Slone provides that. the income
from the property he bequeathed to the College shall be applied
to the education of male studenu at Western Maryland College
who may be pursuing a course preliminary to entering upon a
theological course.
Tll.E. W. EDWIN W/LlI.FIP.1.D MeMORIAL SCHOLAR.'IHIP
This scholarship has been provided by the Lions Club of Silver
Spring. Maryland, in memory of the late W. Edwin Warfield, a
member of that Club and an alumnUI of Western Maryland College,
who died in action during World War n. It provides full tuition
annually co one person selected by the Club.
THE WIILtAM G. BAKf'.II., )11.., SCHOLA1l!';HIP FUND
This scholarship has been established :u a memorial to Mr.
William G. Baker, )r .• for many yean a devoted trustee of the Col·
lege. It provides one tuition scholarship annually.
THE JOSEPH S. warrescsc FUND
This fund has furnished and endowed a suite of rooms in Albert
Nonnan Ward Hall to be occupied by two worthy young men wlthout
charge.
THE WILLIAM R. WINSLOW SCHOLA.1l.SHIP FUND
The income from this fund will provide three full tuition
scholarships. It is the further stipulation of the donor that the recipient
of the scholarship must be willing to earn money to pay for
his room and board

Under th~ provisions of this contribution $500.00 is available
