GENERAL TREND the global, national, and local production of geographical knowledge. GRFG is a vital element in promoting global diversity in geography. Small languages contribute significantly in making great geography. Besides this, following the Habermasian concept of emancipated interest, GRFG could be one channel for fruitful critical interaction between geography, geographical development, and politics in Latvia.
