Bowl along for taste of cricket AT Dolphins HQ, we love our cricket and this month we’re excited because we’re celebrating the Cricket World Cup. We love watching our Aussie cricketers battle it out against some of the world’s toughest competition. We soar with excitement as our boys take a wicket or score a century and we suffer the disappointment when things don’t go our way. But win or lose, we’re proud of our team and we stand by them as they play for our country. But this event does more than show our incredible Aussie cricket talent. It brings together 14 of the world’s best cricketing countries, right in our very own backyard. Footy tipping’s back in 2015 THE Dolphins footy tipping competition is back bigger and better than ever in 2015. Utilising the Redcliffe Dolphin free app platform for your Smartphone or tablet, you can now make your weekly NRL rugby league tips easier than ever before. Downloading the app is simple and straightforward, simply search Redcliffe Dolphins in the Apple or Google Play stores and soon as you know it, you’ll be enjoying all the endless benefits the app has to offer. The app itself houses every Dolphins enterprise in one convenient spot, available anywhere, anytime: from the latest entertainment and dining options at the club, to Dolphins TV videos and match reports at the footy club; timetables and PT trainers at the Dolphins Health Precinct, shop opening hours at Dolphins Central, plus jackpots and step by step guide to Dolphins Bingo. Once you’re in the app itself, tap on the Leagues Club selection, followed by Promotions. You’ll find the NRL Footy Tipping Comp ’15 conveniently located directly at the top of the listing. From here, read the instructions thoroughly and scroll down to register your details. Entry is free and open to anyone 18 years and older with the advisement prizes must be collected in person. There are heaps of prizes up for grabs from first, second, third and even if you come in at last place, you still walk away with a great prize. Plus new this year is our knockout competition winner. The benefits of using this latest technology are endless. Now your tips don’t lock out until five minutes before each match’s scheduled kick-off time. So instead of missing an entire round, now you could just miss the opening match or two for the weekend and still not fall behind thanks to how the away teams might go on the night. You may even come out better off in some cases as we all know. There is also the added knockout competition this year in which a player selects a club each round that he believes is sure to win. The catch is you can’t pick the same team two weeks in a row, and once you get it wrong, you’re out. Last man/woman standing will walk away with two cartons of Corona for their efforts. Not a bad little incentive right there. Pick the margin is another aspect of the competition. This feature allows us to settle any tied result disputes which may arise towards the latter end of the competition. Tie that aspect with the added Joker round feature and all results are sure to go down to the wire come September. The Joker feature allows players to select one round throughout the competition to double their score on. This benefit cannot be taken lightly considering there’s also a bonus five points up for grab for a perfect round. That’s a possible 26 points up for grabs still in round 26. It’s anybody’s game. Registrations are open now, so don’t delay. Should you not have a Smartphone or tablet device, please see our friendly reception staff for assistance. They will be more than happy to walk you through the steps on one of the two stationed iPads available.
