GUIDED HIKES DAILY<br />
Nestled between the Valle di Selva dei Molini-Mühlwaldertal<br />
and the Rio Bianco-Weißenbach, the hiking<br />
area around the Speikboden offers approximately 90<br />
km. (60 miles) of maintained hiking trails. Daily guided<br />
hikes offer a unique panorama view of the surrounding<br />
mountain landscape.<br />
PARAGLIDING<br />
The Speikboden is an outstanding long-distance flight<br />
area for both beginners and experienced pilots. The<br />
area became famous for this as a result of Kurt Eder<br />
(2011 world champion in paragliding in the sports category)<br />

SUNRISE<br />
Every Tuesday, the lifts begin operation starting at 6:00<br />
A.M. Starting from September, the sunrise can be admired<br />
after a guided hike.<br />
SPEIK<br />
The Speikboden area got its name from a small<br />
flower that grows in the high mountains – Alpine<br />
valerian, or “Speik” in German. The flower<br />
blooms there near the Speikboden peak from June<br />
to mid-July.<br />
