as part of the preparation for the annual horse
show, international Grand prix rider, Mr. sebastian
“sebi” pellon-Maison conducted a show Jumping
Clinic. all horses were checked by a veterinarian
to ensure they are well and conditioned for the
competition.
international judges, Ms. alison King (Fei 4* Dressage
Judge, Fei 4* para-equestrian Dressage Judge, Fei
steward Dressage, Jumping, eventing and paraequestrian),
Mr. Vittorio barba (Fei 2* Judge), and
Mr. Minuro Osada (Fei 3* Judge) led the scoring in
Dressage while Malaysian Fei judge Mr. siraj Wahab
officiated in the show Jumping.
The event’s outcome reflects the combined efforts
and camaraderie among the riders, the riding
school Committee, and the generous sponsors:
Ms. isa pilapil who designed the event logo;
Ms. Dindin lagdameo for the design of the
invitation, banner and billboard; Ms. Mariles
Gustilo for the provision of banners; Contel
Communications inc. for the two-way radios; and
Gymboree for the art materials used in the on-thespot
painting contest (congratulations to budding
artist Frances rocha for winning the contest).
The rider’s loot bag was equally a delight. inside
the bags were Fila outdoor shoes from Mr. butch
albert, ahs commemorative shirts from Ms. Karen
Concepcion, towels from Ms. Marielo Guerrero, and
baller iD bracelets from Ms. nina herrera-huang.
special thanks also goes to the polo & equestrian
Office, publications Office, F&b, and the riding
school crew for the much needed support in
making the event a success.
