Dear Members,
We are well into the year of the Dragon but
the good news goes on. We have monthly and
quarterly specials (please see pp. 18-19), new
food concessionaires, and the impending launch
of our renovated 50-yr. old Main lounge.
in a week’s time, pancake house will be in full
operational capacity serving scrumptious meals at
the Tennis pavilion, which may prove a challenge
for those looking to avoid the temptation of an
indulgent reward after a hard-played set on the
court.
The renovation of the Main lounge and its
adjacent areas has inevitably resulted in the
transfer of nanten restaurant to the Drivers’
Canteen at parking 1. please bear with us during
this renovation phase as we’re working towards
providing better overall service to all our members
with these changes. nanten is expected to reopen
in June 2012.
We’re working doubly hard on improving the Main
lounge, and we do sincerely apologize especially
to our library patrons for any disturbance you
may experience during this time. Trust that we are
pushing to complete the improvements as quickly
as possible while maintaining the highest
quality workmanship.
We hope that all the Club’s moms enjoyed our
Mother’s Day treat last May 13! Dads, we’ve also

got a few surprises planned for you on Father’s
Day, so come celebrate with us this June 17!
This board year is ending in august with the
annual General Membership Meeting scheduled
on august 28, 2012. i encourage all proprietary
members to submit their proxy Forms to the Office
of the General Manager to insure a quorum.
The complete set of election materials will be
released to all proprietary members towards the
end of July or early august. all members are
invited to attend this annual meeting.
