MiNET <strong>Specification</strong><br />
This command shall be used by the system to activate/deactivate the indicated<br />
relay(s).<br />

Set Relay message format<br />
The RCTL (relay control) octet is defined as follows (decimal):<br />
0 = deactivate<br />
1 = activate<br />
The RLY (relay) octet is defined as follows (decimal):<br />
1-254 = relay number<br />
255 = all relays<br />

4.2.1.10 Pager Module Ringing (D6)<br />
The format of this command shall be as shown in Figure 13/MTS<strong>22</strong>-C.<br />
This command shall be used by the system to control a ringing cycle in a device that is controlling a Paging<br />
Unit. Cadence pattern and repeat pattern is implementation dependant.<br />

Pager Module Ringing message format<br />
The PMCTL (pager module control) octet is defined as follows (decimal):<br />
00 = deactivate<br />
01 = activate<br />
4.2.2 Responses from terminal to system<br />
4.2.2.1 Report Set ID (C1)<br />
The format of this response shall be as shown in Figure 14/MTS<strong>22</strong>-C.<br />
This response shall be sent by a terminal on power-up, and shall also be sent in response to a Request Set<br />
ID command (see §<br />
4.2.1.1).<br />

Report Set ID response format<br />
The values (in hexadecimal) and meanings currently defined for the ID octet are shown below:<br />
Note- Bit 7 of the ID octet is traditionally used to differentiate voice (bit=1) and data (bit=0) terminals.<br />
ID octet:<br />
00 = asynchronous dataset (DS1100)<br />
01 = low speed synchronous dataset (DS2100)<br />
02 = high speed synchronous dataset (DS<strong>22</strong>00)<br />
03 = IBM 3278 terminal dataset (DS4113)<br />
04 = IBM 3274 controller dataset (DS41<strong>22</strong>)<br />
05 = Printer port option on DNIC LCD console<br />
