Murray Bridge Speedway member event
It was a fantastic night for
members and their staff at
the final round of speedway
action at Murray Bridge
Speedway on Saturday April 3.
Approximately 80 MTA
members and staff attended
and enjoyed the catered
corporate facility overlooking
the track for a night of full-on
speedway action.
The MTA sponsored the
Demolition Derby which was
to be the grand finale event of
the season however, due to
lack of registrations a ramp
race was held instead. This
spectacle didn’t disappoint race
goers with plenty of hits and
close shaves to everyone’s
enjoyment.
During the evening the
MTA’s sponsorship was well
rewarded with an abundance
of trackside announcements
promoting the Association.

The CVIA held a
committee meeting on
March 10 at the South
Australian Road Transport
Association (SARTA) offices,
Regency Park.
There were several agenda
items of equal importance for
discussion.

Program – MTA-GTS staff

and Nick Hallion (Heavy
Vehicle Lecturer) updated
members on the new training
programs about to commence
– Certificate III in Automotive

Automotive Mechanical

The evening was a success in
both promoting the
Association and entertaining
members.

emphasising the importance of
documentation and record
keeping.
