Early Learning
Guidelines and now in
the revision of the
QRIS system.
CYFD is working
closely with the three
tribal entities that have
been granted funds
through ACF for the
establishment of home
visiting programs.

they are welcome to
participate in the QRIS
if they are licensed and
take advantage of
training and technical
assistance that the
state has to offer.

align the early childhood
care and education “system
of systems” so that children
and families have access to
a seamless continuum of
services pre-natal through
third grade.

CYFD is currently
having quarterly
meetings with the
Navajo Nation CCDF
Compliance Officer to
discuss child care
centers located in the
Navajo Nation who are
receiving State CCDF
funds.
Maintaining communication
with Navajo Nation and
ensures that CCDF funds
do not overlap.
