1.2.3 Describe the activities for which quality funds (including targeted quality funds for infants and toddlers, school-age children, and resource and referral) will be used in FY 2014 - 2015. Note: Funding estimate is limited to FY 2014. In as much detail possible, list the activities that will be funded, the estimated amount of CCDF quality funds that will be used for each activity, and how these activities relate to the Lead Agency’s overall goal of improving the quality of child care for low-income children. Estimated Amount of CCDF Quality Funds For FY 2014 School-Age/Child Care Resource and Referral Targeted Funds $290,000 Activity (Lead Agency should include description of quality activities that cover FY 2014 and also information about activities for FY 2015, if available) Purpose $170,000- Quality earmarks for school-age child care fund the higher reimbursement rates that are paid for this age group. $120,000-The centralized New Mexico Kids Child Care Resource and Referral provides parents with access through the internet or by calling a tollfree number. New Mexico Kids CCR&R maintains a statewide database of childcare providers that are licensed or registered by the State of New Mexico. Projected Impact and Anticipated Results (if possible) New Mexico Kids Child Care and Resource Referral is a statewide service dedicated to helping families find child care, supporting families as decision makers, and offering technical support related to children and childcare and to families and child care providers.
