CYFD. The <strong>Child</strong> <strong>Care</strong><br />
Services Bureau<br />
(CCSB), FNB <strong>and</strong><br />
CACFP home<br />
sponsors collaborate to<br />
provide training to<br />
registered family home<br />
child care providers at<br />
16 Regional Early <strong>Care</strong><br />
<strong>and</strong> Education<br />
Conferences (RECEC)<br />
statewide.<br />
Throughout the year,<br />
CACFP home<br />
sponsors assist in<br />
ensuring that<br />

expected from the<br />
coordination<br />
Examples might include<br />
increased supply of fullday/full-year<br />
services,<br />
aligned eligibility policies,<br />
blended funding, or access<br />
to more training <strong>and</strong><br />
technical assistance<br />
resources shared across<br />
agencies.<br />
Through this partnership,<br />
CYFD <strong>and</strong> DOH hope to<br />
improve nutrition <strong>and</strong><br />
physical activity st<strong>and</strong>ards<br />
for children served in child<br />
care settings.<br />
As a result of this<br />
coordination, CYFD aims to<br />
make training more<br />
accessible for family home<br />
child care providers.<br />
This coordination helps<br />
CYFD ensure that<br />
providers are meeting<br />
training requirements.<br />
Programs participating in<br />
CACFP receive 3 visits per<br />
year from food monitors.<br />
