DAVID KNOX<br />

David Knox was appointed Chief<br />

Executive Officer and Managing<br />

Director in July 2008.<br />

He has over 30 years of experience<br />

in the global oil and gas industry,<br />

and was Managing Director for BP<br />

Developments in Australasia from<br />

2003 to 2007. He previously held<br />

senior positions with BP in the<br />

United Kingdom and Pakistan, and<br />

management and engineering roles at<br />

ARCO and Shell in the United States,<br />

Pakistan, the Netherlands, the United<br />

Kingdom and Norway.<br />

David holds a honours degree<br />

in Mechanical Engineering from<br />

Edinburgh University and a Masters<br />

of Business Administration from<br />

the University of Strathclyde.<br />

PETRINA COVENTRY<br />

Petrina Coventry is responsible for<br />

the company’s organisation and<br />

people strategies.<br />

Prior to joining <strong>Santos</strong> in 2009,<br />

Petrina held global leadership roles<br />

for The General Electric Company,<br />

The Coca Cola Company and Proctor<br />

and Gamble. Her industry experience<br />

includes energy, oil and gas, financial<br />

services and fast-moving consumer<br />

goods.<br />

Petrina is a PhD partner with Melbourne<br />

Business School, a Vincent Fairfax<br />

Fellow, a member of the World Economic<br />

Forum Partner Against Corruption<br />

Initiative and an advisor to the Global<br />

Council of Corporate Universities.<br />

Peter Cleary<br />

Vice President Strategy<br />

and Corporate Development<br />

BCom, LLB<br />

Peter Cleary is responsible for <strong>Santos</strong>’<br />

commercial, strategy and planning,<br />

corporate development, and public<br />

affairs functions.<br />

Peter joined <strong>Santos</strong> in September 2010<br />

from BP, where he was the President<br />

of North West Shelf Australia LNG, the<br />

LNG marketing company for the North<br />

West Shelf Venture.<br />

During his 24-year career with<br />

BP, Peter held senior management<br />

positions in Australia, Indonesia,<br />

Korea, Hong Kong, Abu Dhabi and the<br />

United Kingdom. Peter is currently a<br />

member of the Executive Committee<br />

of the Australia Japan Business<br />

Co-operation Committee.<br />

ANDREW SEATON<br />

Chief Financial Officer<br />

BEng (Hons) Chemical, GradDip<br />

BusAdmin<br />

Andrew Seaton was appointed<br />

Chief Financial Officer in 2010, and<br />

is responsible for <strong>Santos</strong>’ corporate<br />

finance, accounting, taxation,<br />

treasury, investor relations, risk, audit,<br />

insurance, information systems and<br />

procurement functions.<br />

Andrew has over 25 years of oil and<br />

gas industry experience, encompassing<br />

finance, banking, commercial and<br />

engineering roles. Prior to joining<br />

<strong>Santos</strong> in 2005, Andrew held senior<br />

positions in investment banking with<br />

Merrill Lynch and corporate banking<br />

with NAB where he worked on a broad<br />

range of M&A, equity and debt<br />

transactions. His early career included<br />

10 years of operations, engineering<br />

design and project management<br />

experience.<br />

ROD DUKE<br />

Vice President<br />

Downstream GLNG<br />

BEng (Hons) Chemical, GradDip<br />

Management<br />

Rod Duke is responsible for leading<br />

the downstream activities of the<br />

<strong>Santos</strong> GLNG project, including the<br />

delivery of the GLNG gas transmission<br />

pipeline and the LNG plant and port<br />

projects.<br />

Rod has extensive global experience<br />

in the LNG industry and joined <strong>Santos</strong><br />

in February 2013 from Singapore LNG<br />

Corporation, where he held the<br />

position of Senior Vice President.<br />

He has over 28 years of experience<br />

in project management, engineering,<br />

construction, commissioning,<br />

operations, commercial, marketing<br />

and business development areas of<br />

the upstream natural gas and LNG<br />

industry.<br />

Martyn Eames<br />

Vice President Asia Pacific<br />

BSc (Hons)<br />

Martyn Eames is responsible for<br />

<strong>Santos</strong>’ activities in the Asia Pacific<br />

region, and has been based in<br />

Singapore since early 2012. This<br />

includes management of <strong>Santos</strong>’<br />

existing exploration, development<br />

and production assets in Indonesia,<br />

Papua New Guinea, Vietnam, India,<br />

Bangladesh and any future growth.<br />

Martyn joined <strong>Santos</strong> in December<br />

2004 as Vice President Corporate and<br />

People. Before that, he spent more<br />

than 25 years with BP working in<br />

upstream commercial and management<br />

roles in Angola, Canada, Australia,<br />

Papua New Guinea, Norway, the United<br />

Kingdom and the United States.<br />

DAVID LIM<br />

Company Secretary<br />

BEc, LLB, Ch.Sec<br />

David Lim is accountable to the<br />

Board for the effectiveness of<br />

corporate governance processes,<br />

ensuring adherence to the Board’s<br />

principles and procedures and<br />

coordinating all Board business,<br />

and provides the <strong>Santos</strong> Board<br />

with independent advice and support<br />

in relation to these matters.<br />

Prior to joining <strong>Santos</strong> in 2007,<br />

David had over 15 years of experience<br />

in commercial legal practice. He is an<br />

accredited Chartered Secretary.<br />
