APOSTOLOS FRAGKOS<br />

He was born in Thessaloniki. He is a<br />

schoolteacher and performer. He attended<br />

several acting, physical, speech and dance<br />

seminars by P.Zivanos, M.Gementzaki,<br />

M.Marmarinos, A.Brouskou, R.Carreri (ODIN<br />

Theatre), N.Milivoyevic etc.<br />

As an actor he participated in contemporary<br />

theatre and dance performances: Dans la<br />

solitude des champs de cotton, B.M.Coltes,<br />

Orestes, Evripides, Please kill me, a live art<br />

performance etc. He, also, participated in<br />

several dance performances of QuasiStellar:<br />

Icon Skin, Arena Metropolity, Male Study, a<br />

solo on tour for International Theatre festivals,<br />

such as Mess Festival, Sarajevo, Seognam<br />

Festival,Seoul, Callejero Festival, Bogotá etc,<br />

Paralympics Ceremony, Athens 2004, Trim the<br />

edges with lace-a fashion show as a dancer<br />

and a co-director. He worked on dramaturgy in<br />

Human female study, by Ap.Papadamaki, Mind<br />

the gap, by I.Parali amd in Proun as a director<br />

too, etc.<br />

stavros gasparatos<br />

Stavros Gasparatos was born in Patras in<br />

1975. He has studied classical and jazz music<br />

studies at the “Fillipos Nakas” conservatory and<br />

from 2000 he owns his professional recording<br />

studio. He has also studied mechanical<br />

engineering at Patras technological university<br />

and at the same time he has followed sound<br />

engineering seminars. In 1998 he founded with<br />

Alexandros Tsilfidis the music group “gyro<br />

gyro” with which he released three albums<br />

(collaborating with musicians like B.L.Raininger,<br />

N Kypourgos) . During the last years he gave<br />

many live concerts, worked in many audiovisual<br />

installations, and wrote music for cinema<br />

and theatre, working with many of the biggest<br />

companies and directors in Greece.<br />

He has collaborated with Amore Theatre, Roes<br />

Theatre, Theatre of Patras, Neos Kosmos<br />

Theatre, Thesseum Theatre, Amfi-theatro,<br />

Politia, Theatro Technis, Festival of Athens and<br />

Festival of Patras.<br />

As a composer he wrote music for the following<br />

National Theatre productions Baal, B. Brecht,<br />

direction Y. Paraskevopoulos, Trust, direction D.<br />

Tibilis, Versus, E. Triantafyllopoulou, Constant<br />

Lagment, direction T. Tzamargias, Tartoufe,<br />

Moliere, direction L. Meleme, Plasticine,<br />

direction K. Evaggelatou, 10 commandments,<br />

direction K. Arvanitakis, S. Panouryios, K.<br />

Evaggelatou, T. Abazis, D. Xronopoulos.<br />

He has composed music for all <strong>amorphy</strong>.<strong>org</strong><br />

productions, Psycho cycle, Theatro Simio, Dock<br />

11 Berlin, Invisible cities, Neos Kosmos Theatre,<br />

Biennale Naples 2005, 1.170.694, video dance<br />

performance.<br />

In 2005-2006 he was working as a composer<br />

on a live - telematic performance ‘See you in<br />

Walhalla’ that was the outcome of the i–MAP<br />

project (Integration of Media And Performance)<br />

sponsored by European Union ‘Culture 2000’<br />

program. See you in Walhalla premiered<br />

simultaneously in September 2006, at IME<br />

Performing Arts Center in Athens, De Waag<br />

at Amsterdam and Red House for Culture and<br />

Debate in Sofia.<br />

In July 2007 a second phase of the project, ‘Fwd:<br />

See you In Walhalla’, was presented during the<br />

programming of the Athens Festival.<br />

Lili Pezanou<br />

She was born in Athens in 1956. Studied<br />

Architecture in the National Technical University<br />

between 1974-1980. She worked as an architect.<br />

In collaboration with governmental theatres<br />

and independent ensembles she has designed<br />

the stage for performances of ancient classic<br />

writers, classic repertory texts, poetic texts,<br />

modern play writing, lyric theatre and dance.<br />

Furthermore, she has designed the set and<br />

the costumes for films and TV. She has, also,<br />

been a member of the creative team and a<br />

stage designer for the Opening and Closing<br />

Ceremonies for the Olympic Games ATHENS<br />

2004. She has designed theatre spaces.<br />

She edited and designed picture galleries,<br />

in collaboration with Museums and private<br />

Galleries, as well as book publications.<br />

VIDEO SYSTEM DESIGN<br />

stathis chrisidis<br />

Born in Thessaloniki on 1975. Studied Applied<br />

Information technology and Mathematics in<br />

Scotland. His field of study was the automatic<br />

image and the audiovisual machines. The<br />

last few years he has been involved in the<br />

real time image composition. Apart from<br />

live performances his interest extended<br />

at installations in urban environments.<br />

He undertakes the technical planning and<br />

implementation of audiovisual installations of<br />

artistic and commercial projects on the behalf<br />

of third party.<br />

VIDEO SYSTEM CONSULTANT<br />

Panayiotis Tsagkarakis<br />

He studied Audio Technology and Acoustics<br />

at the University of Salford, UK. He worked<br />

as an Environmental Health Officer at the<br />

department of Noise Pollution (London Borough<br />

Of Newham) and as Acoustics Engineer at the<br />

Nokia Mobile Phones R&D Center (Finland).<br />

When he returned to Greece, he collaborated<br />

with the Centre of Contemporary Musical<br />

Research for the composition and production<br />

of electroacustic musical pieces. In June 2006<br />

it completed the Postgraduate title “Arts and<br />

Technologies of Sound” in the Ionian University<br />

(Corfu, Greece), with specialisation in the field<br />

of Interactive Environments. Founding member<br />

of Medea Electronique team, which presented<br />

first mix media performance “Project 1” staged<br />

in the Benaki Museum of Modern Art in Athens,<br />

Greece, the Ionian Academy in Corfu, Greece and<br />

the NWEAMO festival in San Diego, USA, during<br />

Spring, Summer and Fall 2007 respectively<br />

Maria Athanasopoulou<br />

Maria was born in Patra in 1968. She studied still<br />

photography at the Focus School of Photography<br />

in Athens and attended the seminars of Platon<br />

Rivelis at the PhotoCircle.<br />

Since 1992 she has worked as an assistant<br />

operator and camera operator in various film<br />

and TV productions (feature and short films,<br />

documentaries, commercials and TV series).<br />

Since 2000 she has worked as a lighting<br />

designer for theatre and dance performances<br />

while experimenting in the video art creations.<br />

In 2003, she received the Audience Award at the<br />

Video Dance Festival in Athens for Requiem 2,<br />

a video artwork produced by Sinequanon Dance<br />

Co. for the performance<br />

Eugenia Tzirtzilaki<br />

Eugenia Tzirtzilaki is a theater director,<br />

translator and performer. She studied<br />

photography and journalism and later on<br />

acting at the D. Fotiades Drama School<br />

in Athens, and stage directing at the City<br />

University of New York with a scholarship by the<br />

Onassis Foundation and P.E.O. International.<br />

Performances she has directed have been<br />

presented in Cyprus, the USA, Denmark, Poland<br />

and Greece, while plays she’s written have been<br />

staged in New York, Warsaw and Melbourne.<br />

Her films have been part of several international<br />

festivals, and have been used at the Edinburgh<br />

Fringe 2005 as a stage installation. In 2003<br />

she was awarded the «Zoel Zwick Award for<br />

Outstanding Contribution to Theater,» while she<br />

is a member of the Lincoln Center Directors Lab<br />

since 2004. She works and lives in Greece since<br />

2005.<br />

Vassiliki Pappi was born in Athens in 1968. She<br />

studied english literature and comparative<br />

education. She has taught english in Greece<br />

and greek as a foreign language in Spain and<br />

she works as a translator, a science editor and<br />

a contributor to magazines. She is currently<br />

undertaking a PhD in the Department of Political<br />

Science and Public Administration at the<br />

University of Athens.<br />

kostas gkikas<br />

Kostas Gkikas was born in Athens in 1981. He<br />

studied Photography at the Technical School of<br />

Athens and also Products and Systems Design<br />

at the University of the Aegean. Since 2006 he<br />

has been a member of Antidot Design where he<br />

works as an industrial designer and animator.<br />

His fields of interest are cognitive science and<br />

ergonomics.<br />

leanda xavian<br />

Leanda Xavian was born in Melbourne, Australia<br />

in 1968. She trained at Portsmouth College<br />

of Art & Design and Southampton University.<br />

Leanda has been a practising graphic designer<br />

for the past ten years and her clients include<br />

Unilever, RIBA, the Mary Rose Trust, Pringle<br />

Brandon Architects and ITV. After 18 years spent<br />

living and working in London, she relocated to<br />

Athens in May 2007 and is currently a member<br />

of Antidot Design Studio.<br />

lila sotiriou<br />

Lila Sotiriou was born in Drama, Greece, in 1971.<br />

She studied Sociology at the Pantio University<br />

of Athens and Photography at the International<br />

Center of Photography in New York. She<br />

graduated from the School of Fine Arts in<br />

Athens, [Master degree in «Digital Arts»].<br />

She has been awarded (together with Maria<br />

Athanasopoulou) at the 4th INTERNATIONAL<br />

VIDEO DANCE FESTIVAL in Athens (2003)<br />

for their video “Requiem 2” (Super 8 film<br />

– 6min), with the Fulbright Artist Grant (2000),<br />

a distinction made by Jannis Kounellis for the<br />

Biennale in Rome (1999), and with “one of the<br />

best pictures of the year” at GRAPHIS ANNUAL<br />

PHOTOGRAPHY BOOK in New York (1997).<br />

She participated to group exhibitions: 9th<br />

Biennale of European Young Artists (Rome<br />

1999), Biennale of Greek Photography (Nice<br />

1998), 10 years of Photography Circle (Athens<br />

1998), Annual exhibition of the International<br />

Centre of Photography (New York 1996). She<br />

has been working as a freelance photographer<br />

from 1996.<br />

Today she is working on different projects<br />

with dancers, actors and multimedia artists<br />

(sinequanon dance co., <strong>amorphy</strong>.<strong>org</strong>, Dimitris<br />

Papaioannou, etc.).<br />

MANOLIS SARDIS has collaborated as a<br />

production manager with the Ministry of<br />

Education, the General Secretariat for Youth, the<br />

National Opera of Greece, the Athens Festival,<br />

the 2006 Patras Cultural Capital of Europe, the<br />

Thessaloniki Film Festival, the Cultural Olympic<br />

Games ATHENS 2004, the Municipal of Athens,<br />

the Greek State School of Dance, Theatre of Arts<br />

(Theatro Technis), Notos Theatre, THESEUM<br />

ENSEMBLE-Michael Marmarinos, OCTANA<br />

Dancetheatre-Konstantinos Rigos, Dancetheatre<br />

Quasi Stellar-Apostolia Papadamaki, and<br />

several others Theatre and dancetheatre<br />

constitutions. In total, he has <strong>org</strong>anized more<br />

than ninety theatre productions, more than forty<br />

dancetheatre performances as well as many<br />

trips with performances in Greece and abroad.<br />

Since 2003, he founded the PRO4 production<br />

company.<br />

He studied Psychology and Management of<br />

Human Resources. He has been a personnel<br />

manager in grand industries and he changed<br />

over to the team of roles’ distribution and<br />

volunteers’ management for the Opening<br />

and Closing Ceremonies of the Olympic and<br />

Paralympic Games in Athens. In 2006, he<br />

founded the company Prologos Arts Marketing,<br />

which collaborates with cultural institutions<br />

such as ELLTHEA, the Athens Festival, the<br />

School of Fine Arts and also, with significant<br />

Greek artists.<br />

He studied Marketing and Administration of<br />

Enterprises in the Deree College.<br />

After his graduation, he was included in the<br />

team of roles’ distribution and management<br />

of volunteers-performers for the Opening and<br />

Closing Ceremonies of the Olympic Games<br />

ATHENS 2004. Then, he worked in the Boussias<br />

Communications as a person in charge of<br />

subscriptions and congresses for the magazine<br />

Marketing Week and netweek. In 2006, he<br />

became a member of Prologos Arts Marketing<br />
